UkrTEST  OF  THE  SE  “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” APPROACHES THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET OF UKRAINIAN PRODUCTS

To provide conditions for free entry of Ukrainian products into foreign markets, and first of all to the EU market, the SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” has taken a number of technical and organizational actions for the creation of opportunities for conformity assessment and certification of these products in accordance with EU Directives. The country’s participation in the IEC System of Conformity Assessment for Electrotechnical and Components (IECEE) offers great opportunities for electrical equipment exports. Ukraine is represented in the IECEE since 2002 by the UkrTEST of the SE  “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” as the Ukrainian national certification body and testing laboratory with the right to issue and accept certificates under the CB Scheme. The CB certificates issued by the UkrTEST are accepted in more than 50 countries around the world — members of the IECEE. Besides, the SE “UKRMETRTESTSTANDART” has concluded a number of agreements on mutual recognition of the results of conformity assessment with the certification bodies of Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Latvia, Denmark, which provide for domestic manufactures to carry out a major amount of work (certification tests, inspection of production sites) in Ukraine, and, based on its results, to obtain certificate from European notified body for product labeling with the CE Mark.
